WoTLK Gold Molten Core and Blackwing Lair are full of Lore
Two centuries prior to what transpired in Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the Dark Iron dwarf, Emperor Thaurissan, summoned the elemental god of fire, Ragnaros himself. Ragnaros was created centuries ago by the powerful energy of the elemental on Azeroth as the principal symbol of the fire. He was long ago banished to a different realm of his own, called the Firelands however, Emperor Thaurissan decided to call Ragnaros as an infinite source of power.
But Ragnaros was too powerful to be controlled and ended up inslaving the Dark Iron dwarves instead, becoming the main antagonist of Wrath of the Lich King Classic's Molten Core raid. Then, fast forward centuries, and that's the scenario players must deal with by delve deep into the Molten Core to take down Ragnaros one and for all and return him into the Firelands.
Following losing Ragnoros Onyxia's brother the black dragon Nefarian was also creating trouble for the mortal race. Nefarian experimented with different kinds of dragons to try to develop the perfect weapon, which led to a variety of monsters amidst his fortress, Blackwing Lair. The players fought the dragon-spawn mutants, and then faced Blackrock, the God of Blackrock himself. Nefarian was unaware that mortals could pose a danger to his species, however, he was proved wrong and eventually killed in WoW: Classic's Blackwing Lair raid.
An almost mythological event from the history of World of Warcraft that is cherished by many players and players, is that of the Second War of The Shifting Sands which is also called The Battle of Ahn'Qiraj. In the face of the rise from the Old God, C'Thun, the Horde and the Alliance put aside their differences and attacked the town of Ahn'Qiraj to put an end to the invading force.
